Adult acne is becoming extremely prominent, and is now almost as common as teenage acne. Adult acne can affect people from the age of twenty all the way up to fifty, and it can also start at any age in-between. Adult acne can have the same, if not worse effects on a person as compared to teenage acne. The increase in family and work related stress could add to the severity of adult acne.

Causes of adult acne:
1) One of the major causes of adult acne is mental stress. It is also more common to find women with acne than men, as studies have shown that women have a higher level of mental stress.

2) Another factor contributing to stress levels are hormonal imbalances. This can be caused by a number of reasons but again; women are more susceptible than men (because of their menstrual cycle, and even pregnancy). Just as in the case of teens, hormones play an important factor in the breakout of adult acne.

3) A person's lifestyle can also be the cause of and acne breakout. Smoking, drinking, and eating unhealthy all contribute to an increased likelihood of having adult acne. Also note, that by leading an unhealthy lifestyle, you are decreasing your body’s ability to fight of disease.

Adult acne cures/ prevention methods:
1) Lower your stress levels. Although this may sound difficult, it is important if you want to get rid of adult acne.

2) Start leading a healthy lifestyle. Exercise, eating healthy and giving up bad habits can all help on to cure adult acne.

If you already have acne and you try to cure it, you may well succeed but then you have the problem of having all the old pimples. There are many ways to remove acne scars and anti acne creams and laser treatment are two of the more popular ones. If you don't already suffer from adult acne, then try some of the prevention methods so that you will never have to go through having an acne breakout. If however you already have adult acne, then you could try out some of the acne cures above as well, but it may be a better idea if you seek help from a professional as well, to determine the severity of your acne.

9 ways to deal with Teenage Acne

Teenage acne can at times cause your child much grief. It is however possible to successfully prevent/ treat teenage acne and in this article I will provide you with some ways that you could use to help cure teenage acne.

There are a number of products which will treat acne. Some of them are home remedies for acne. If you don't already have acne, then try your best to keep it that way. Here are a few teenage acne treatment/ prevention methods:

1) Too much sunshine is bad:
A little bit of sunlight may help to treat acne for a few days, but after that it will make it worse. Sunburns are another risk as some acne treatments make the skin more sensitive to the sun. If you need to be on the sun then to have proper acne skin care, you should use a sunscreen.

2) Clean your skin
Acne skincare is vital if you already have teenage acne (or any acne for that matter!). This tip can also be used to prevent getting acne if you don't have it.

If you're a teen it is usually advisable that, you wash your face twice a day using warm water and a mild facial cleanser. It would be even better though, if you swap the cleanser for an acne soap. However you should not wash more than two times a day, as your skin does require sebum to stay healthy. Also, over washing may cause your glands to secrete even more oil.

3) Choose acne treatment products wisely:
Although its best to avoid cosmetics if you suffer from teenage acne, if you decide to use make-up then choose one that is non-comedogenic and is oil free. Also, be careful about which sunscreens, hair sprays and hair gel you use as some of them may aggravate acne.

4) Avoid toners with alcohol:
These types of cleansers will strip off the top layer of your skin, thus causing your glands to secrete extra oil. This may cause dry and flaky skin, and may even leave you with blemishes.

5) Hands away from your face:
Propionibacterium acnes, is the name of bacteria which cause acne. This bacterium can almost always be found on your skin, but it doesn’t lead to acne unless it gets trapped in a pore. You need to keep your hands off your face do that you don’t rub the bacteria into the pore.

6) Don’t use rough scrubs
Teenage acne may require you to exfoliate, which is usually okay, but do not use any harsh face scrubs. Rather choose one with a finer grain. This will prevent your skin from tearing and worsening the condition.

7) Treat acne as soon as possible:
If you have teenage acne (or any type of acne), then you should try to treat it as soon as possible. This will increase the chance of it healing without causing acne scarring.

8) Choose accessories carefully:
If you have teenage acne, then you need to avoid using accessories that may cause friction and heat on your skin. This can lead to an acne breakout, so you should not be wearing headbands and hats. If you are required to wear a helmet for some reason, then it’s a good idea to use a soft clean cloth to reduce friction. Also, it’s important to shower immediately after exercise to prevent your skin from clogging up.

9) Leave acne pimples alone:
By squeezing and picking acne pimples, you are forcing bacteria deeper into your skin. This will cause an even greater problem in the form of inflammation, or even an infection. You may also be left with scars, although there are many acne scar treatments available.

Remember, if you have teenage acne, it can be fully treated. Whether you prefer to use home remedies for acne (a cheaper option) or to purchase an acne treatment cream, you most probably will be able to completely treat teenage acne.

The biggest Cause of Teenage Acne

Of all the teenagers around the world, about ninety percent of them suffer from teenage acne. There are many harmful products that will damage your skin, rather than fix it. It is therefore necessary to have a thorough understanding of acne skin care.

Acne skin care begins with you understanding that you may (most probably will) have to cut down on the number of beauty products that you use. In this article, I will discuss three major areas of acne skin care.

1) Cleaning your skin:
Acne skin care requires that you choose skin-cleaning products very carefully. You should gently wash your skin with gentle acne soaps. It is vital to use acne soap, as compared to normal soaps (as they are to harsh to be of any benefit towards acne skin care). It is a better idea not to use regular cleansers and toners, and follow the advice of a dermatologist if you do. The problem with these products is that they usually contain active components that may worsen you skin. Also, face scrubs are not good for acne skincare.

2) Be careful of the cosmetics you use:
Acne skin care means that you have to choose cosmetics that wont cause harm to your skin. Its best not to use any but if you feel that you can't do without it, then speak to your dermatologist about the safest ones.

3) Choosing shaving products:
shaving is something that almost every man does and its quite normal to suffer from occasional friction burns etc., but if you have acne this can be a problem. If you want to do acne skin care, then you must choose a shaver that reduces the risks of cuts and burns. Its better to use a shaving cream (or even better, acne soap) to soften up the hair before you shave, but be careful of the ingredients that the cream has as some things will worsen your face.

By following the three methods above, I’m sure that you will have success with acne skin care. Just remember that if you don't take care of your skin properly, then your acne may worsen.

Privacy Policy for http://fightacnenow.blogspot.com

Privacy Policy for http://fightacnenow.blogspot.com

If you require any more information or have any questions about our privacy policy, please feel free to contact us by email at avinash.r.jivan@gmail.com.

At http://fightacnenow.blogspot.com, the privacy of our visitors is of extreme importance to us. Simply known as rosacea, this type of acne usually affects more women although the symptoms in men are more severe. Acne rosacea affects millions of people around the world and is most common in people from the ages of between 20 and 50 years of age.

There are many symptoms of acne rosacea, and the ones that I have given below are probably the main ones.
- Thickened skin, mostly near the nose area
- A constant redness after flushing or blushing
- A tingling or burning sensation
- Uncomfortable, gritty eyes (ocular rosacea)
- Pimples, pustules or papules on the face
- Tiny visible blood vessels under the skin

There are many factors that aggravate acne rosacea, and by avoiding them you will hopefully be able to have some relief from it. Some of the factors that aggravate acne rosace are:
1) Heat:
Heat is a big aggravator of acne rosacea and therefore you should avoid consuming hot food and drinks. Also you should avoid taking hot showers, exercising under very warm temperatures, saunas and steam rooms.

2) Exposure to extreme weather conditions:
Excess cold, sun and wind have been known to cause acne rosacea flair ups. It is vital that you avoid going into the sun, or at least wear a hat and use sunscreen.

3) Beauty products:
You need to avoid using cosmetics that have lots of additives, strong perfumes and even rough towels as these may further damage your skin, worsening the acne rosacea. If you need to use any beauty products then it’s best that you choose ones that are made from only natural ingredients.

Its important that you understand that acne rosacea is a condition that is controlled rather than cured. It is extremely helpful to keep a diary, so that you can find out what aggravates the conditon for you. It is also essential that you drink lots of water, eat a healthy diet and follow proper acne skin care methods.
